JOIN THE HUNT! SAVE LIVES!
Get ready to join Palm Springs Animal Shelter on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 as you COMPETE FOR A CAUSE and participate in our first-ever PS We Love You city-wide Scavenger Hunt!
Seek clues on game day through an app-based scavenger hunt, which will wind around the City of Palm Springs as you visit some of our favorite landmarks and local businesses, along with solving virtual clues. The team with the most points will win A $500 CASH PRIZE and bragging rights for a whole year!
We will be wrapping up the chase at Palm Springs Animal Shelter with vendors and sponsored tables as well as an awards ceremony for top fundraisers and game winners.
No matter what, you’ll be on the hunt to save and improve the lives of thousands of homeless pets.
DATE: Saturday, October 16th
TIME: Game- 10am to 1:00pm Vendor Fair- 1:00pm-3:30pm
LOCATION: Palm Springs Animal Shelter and Demuth Park
PRICE: Game- $15 per person (Limit 5 people per team) Vendor Fair- Free to the public
OTHER DETAILS:
- The object of the game is to find as many of the items on the list as you can within 3 hours (10:00am to 1:00pm).
- You will be using a third-party app to navigate the game and solve clues. You must have at least one smart phone or mobile device with the downloaded app (to be announced) and reliable internet connectivity.
- You will start from the Palm Springs Animal Shelter and end at the awards party and vendor fair (same location). Winners will be announced at 1:30pm.
- Only 1 car per team. Players should work as part of a maximum of a 5 person team.
- No age limits or age restrictions-all ages welcome (anyone under the age 18 should be supervised by their parents or other adults in the group at all times)
- Your team must stay together at all times. You may not split up to “divide” tasks.
- Please note that not every clue location is pet friendly.
- The first team to solve all the clues on the list and/or has the most points by the end of the game wins! Please note, in the case of a tie, the team with the fastest completion and the highest fundraising total will win.
- Sabotaging, lying, cheating, stealing, or copying other people’s work will result in your team’s disqualification.
- Have fun, but do so legally. If you break any laws at any time during any portion of the scavenger hunt, your team will be disqualified.
