We hope you are ready for tomorrow's PS We Love You Scavenger Hunt benefitting the animals of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter. GET AHEAD OF THE GAME! With the tips and tricks below you’ll be ready to hunt and earn a TON of points in advance. Also, some things are required so you’ll want to make sure you don’t miss out!

BEFORE EVENT PREP

Form a team on Causevox: Thank you for registering at www.psashunt.causevox.com. On that same site make sure to form your team, and get the word out there that you and your friends are fundraising on behalf of the animals at the Palm Springs Animal Shelter

- You can play as an individual, but teams (maximum 5 players - one vehicle) are encouraged

To solve clues in the scavenger hunt each team will require at least one player with a phone or ipad with a camera and internet access to play the game. Please use that technology for the following steps:

Download the Goosechase App: Download the GooseChase iOS or Android app.
Register your team on Goosechase: Note that only one person per team- a team Captain- needs to register on Goosechase to play the game.
- Choose to play as a guest, or register for a personal account with a username & password of your choice.
- Search for and select the PS We Love You Scavenger Hunt game, or search for game code 7ZX6DG
- Follow the prompts to select or create your team. If prompted, the password for the game is "PSWLY2021".

MORNING OF THE SCAVENGER HUNT

The PS We Love You Scavenger Hunt Fundraiser will start at the Palm Springs Animal Shelter ( 4575 E. Mesquite Ave Palm Springs CA 92264) parking lot south of Vella rd and Mesquite Ave. The parking lot will be closed off by barriers, and will not be available for event parking.

Parking during the event will be available at Demuth Park, along Mesquite, or on the north side of Vella Road.

To play the game you are required to complete our Rules Agreement. This must be printed, signed and turned in at our Check-In Station between 9 AM and 10 AM the morning of the hunt. We will have hard copies onsite, and a station where you will deliver the form. Hint this is a clue!

Our friends and event sponsors at Victorville Motors will be joining us onsite with a booth and a Jeep Gladiator from 9 AM at check-in through the Vendor Fair. Their goal is to raise $10,000 to help the homeless pets of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter. Get started before Saturday with their first clue by participating in a short five minute Virtual Ride and Drive following the link here. Participation is only recorded if you complete all three videos (Intro, Ride and Drive, Outro), and the short survey at the end of the videos. All team members must complete this for the clue to be counted! Submit your email confirmation for clue points.

To fuel up for the gameday, thanks to Trader Joes and Grocery Outlet, there will be a station near check-in with water and snacks for you to grab before sniffing out the clues!

VENDOR FAIR

The fun doesn’t end when the hunt does!

To qualify to be our Top Dog meet us back at the Palm Springs Animal Shelter by 1 PM for our Vendor Fair, and for the announcement of the $500 grand prize winning team around 1:30 PM.

After so much fun we are sure you will be ready to woof down your complimentary Chef Tanya’s sandwiches, and chips.

While you enjoy your treats, take a walk through our vendor fair which includes a local pet food favorite Bones N’ Scones featuring a variety of pet treats, and supplies. One of our very own adopters, Lisa Burford, will share her Coachella Valley and PSAS Alumnus Lunar graphic design work presented on a variety of mediums from shirts to posters. New to the desert we welcome Alpha Dog Grooming & Trading Post who will have pet shampoos, and other animal related supplies, and their partner House of Pothos who sells curated vintage goods. Additionally we will have Hundenfolk who create cute pet accessories for our best friends.
